Across the street from beautiful museum gardens, a couple of blocks to a stairway on the Wall Walk, a short walk to the main part of York, where the Cathedral, restaurants, and shops are. You can get to York Station in about 15 minutes by foot. Sainsbury’s grocery is on the ground floor of the building, and several pubs and coffee shops are steps away. Even though the building is on a heavily travelled street, none of the noise can be heard in the apartment. There are quiet and effective room air conditioning units in the bedrooms and kitchen/dining/living area.
