7 Aspire Holiday Apartment

We really enjoyed the place – great location, close to all major sites. The apartment was very comfortable (beds are amazing) and extremely clean, taking extra COVID precautions.

A wonderful home-from-home holiday apartment right in the centre of York, just 5 minutes walk from The Minster and close to an abundance of good pubs, cafes and restaurants too. Superbly fitted out with aircon, fast Wi-Fi, the best dvd selection ever and everything you need in the kitchen + lovely bathrooms and bedrooms. Ideal for folks like us on a family break with 2 kids. I can’t recommend more highly.

Great location, immaculately clean and stylish. The COVID 19 precautions in place were also great and made us feel very safe.

This is an amazing property in the perfect location with thoughtful touches and all you need for a visit to York or the Yorkshire area. I really couldn’t think of a single complaint. You won’t regret staying here!

The apartment is in a fabulous location with lots of places to eat nearby, but if you do want to cook in the well equipped kitchen, Sainsburys is just downstairs. An ideal spot for a short break in the heart of the city.  Would highly recommend.

This lovely unit is exactly as depicted, and the location is superb. We had a wonderful time in York and it was great to come back each day to relax in such a well-appointed flat. There is a very convenient grocery store on the ground floor.

The location is great just minutes walk to the minster and shambles.Pubs and restaurants also in walking distance. Facilities excellent the apartment has everything you need. We had elderly relatives with us and there was a lift to the apartment and it was easy to park. A roof top view of the Minster and a park area.

The Apt was stylish, comfortable, quiet, convenient with everything we needed. The linens were wonderful. Four of us stayed for one week. Also enjoyed the smart TV.

Family of 4 spent 2 nights here and loved it! As close to the city center as you can get with a small grocery just downstairs. Kids had their own room with separate beds and their own bathroom. We were provided with everything we needed including local tips, a French press for coffee, and Avatar in 3D for the kids! The best place we stayed in England by far!

Two minute walk to the main gate of the city, and another 2 minutes to the Minster. Plus there’s a Sainsbury on the ground floor to get provisions. Very, Very clean. Modern, high end appliances and plumbing. Has A/C that works well. Flatscreen TV in every room. Washer-dryer. Very quiet. Parking worked well and is very close. Strong WiFi. Good security. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery etc. In sum, a wonderful AirBNB experience. It’s a great flat and the best decision we made for our visit to Yorkshire was to stay here. Thanks!

This apartment was just what we needed as we wrapped up our tour of Britain. The summer heat wave was upon us and the air conditioning was perfect! My family enjoyed the super comfortable living room with tons of movies available to watch on a particularly stormy evening. The building is really safe with extra locks to get into the different areas and the Sainsbury grocer on the bottom floor was really convenient. York itself is just a fun place to visit. We walked the castle walls, the Minster, enjoyed the walking ghost tours, and the wonky buildings were fun to pop in and out of while shopping. If you like hot chocolate, check out the Hotel Chocolat. We also enjoyed tea time at Betty’s tea place.

A great place to stay and see York, beautiful flat with every amenity you could expect and more (air conditioning in hot weather). The location is perfect to get out to the minster, museums and fabulous restaurants. A wonderful host who was flexible with our arrival time, and took the time to show us the flat and make sure we were comfortable when we arrived.

This flat is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. With so many beautiful sights in York this was a great home base. We could walk to everything within 10-15 minutes. Very conveniently located above a Sainbury’s as well. The flat is beautiful, well-appointed, and absolutely comfortable.

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in a fabulous position so close to the city and with parking as well. We would love to come and use it again. We all loved the 3 D television and DVD’s when we got back from touring York.

This apartment is excellently equipped. The beds are very comfortable and it is quiet although being in the heart of the city, just opposite of the York Museum Gardens and very close to York Minster. The location is perfect to visit the city, even my 89 year old mother could reach everything on foot. A supermarket is within the building and lots of restaurants, bars and cafés are around. We can really recommend staying in 7 Aspire when visiting York.

A lovely place in a fantastic location. The accommodation is of very high standard, quality fixtures and fittings and very well equipped. The owner was great from the moment we arrived, he met us in the car park, he gave us a full rundown of the apartment and the local area.

This place would have to be one of the best if not the best we have stayed in on our 6 week adventure. Everything you need is supplied and we enjoyed having TV’s in the bedrooms especially! Plenty of hot water and heating is great. We would stay again if visiting York again!

This is a brilliant place.

This well equipped, comfortable flat is in a very central location near the Minster, Museum Gardens and City Walls. There is a Sainsbury’s local below and lots of cafes on your doorstep. Betty’s tea rooms are 5 mins walk – always a good place to visit whilst in York. The flat has parking or is 10 mins walk from the train station. We would stay again if visiting York.

7 Aspire is ideally located in York and perfectly fitted out. Kids loved it and it was great to have two bathrooms and space between the bedrooms. We were provided some great tips on local activities (including the important tip to pre book the Jorvik centre!)

An excellent apartment, well-furnished to a high standard and fitted with all the amenities for a short or long stay. The city walls are literally across the road, and there’s a mini-Sainsburys and cash machine on the ground floor. The arrival and journey information is thorough and complete as is the Guest pack which covers every appliance. Very well organised, and with a friendly welcome and introduction to the apartment York is a terrific destination with more places to eat and drink than you can possibly need. Don’t miss The House Of The Trembling Madness if you want to sample a huge range of beers. Highly Recommended.

Diese Wohnung ist an einer super Lage, gerade in der Nähe des Westtors. Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Trotz an der Hauptstrasse ist es schön ruhig in der Wohnung.

The apartment is very well kept, the location is fantastic and super convenient with Sainsbury’s below and good restaurants and pubs a stone throw away. The check in and check out process is easy, and there are ample instructions on how to work all of the equipment in the apartment. The location in the centre of York is wonderfully convenient. There is privacy in the apartment itself with the bedrooms being quite separate as are the washrooms. I highly recommend this apartment.

One couple drove the other took the train. Meeting friends once a year and this time in York. The apartment was excellent and suited both couples. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, wi-fi and all at a good price. Very nicely situated to explore and enjoy York’s many attractions especially the very lifelike Jorvik Viking Centre and wonderful Minster. Throw in a parking permit and good views what is there to dislike?

Great location for easy walking to the Minster and all of York. Good restaurants nearby, and the apartment is lovely. It was wonderful to relax at the end of a long day of being a tourist. Our many questions were answered with good humor and patience.

This is a first class accommodation right in the centre of York. The host has thought of everything in preparing the apartment for guests. This was our best experience of using Airbnb by some distance.

This apartment is modern and very well appointed. It’s greatest feature is the close proximity to all sites and a local grocery store below. There was a very convenient car park at the rear of the apartment.

This place was top notch luxury. Tidy, full of amenities, and the view is amazing. Everything was in its place, we didn’t want for anything. The beds were comfy, the couch was stellar, the appliances, etc.. were just great. Location is perfect. Sainsburys is right downstairs and has everything from fast sammies, food to cook, and booze. Wall/Minster is a very short walk away. Free parking permit. A/C was kicking. Just a perfect Airbnb experience.

I highly recommend this property. it’s in a superb location and suffers no noise from the street, despite being so central. The flat was spotlessly clean and very well equipped (the kitchen had everything, the TV was big, there were loads of DVDs and board games if you’re into that kind of thing). You can see the towers of York minster from the kitchen and bedroom windows.

Aspire apartments was a tranquil place only a couple of minutes’ walk from the old area of York, Bootham Bar and the Walls, plus a lovely public garden. The apartment is very new, clean and comfortable, with air cons in the bedrooms and the lounge which was lovely in the hot days we had there. Plenty of tea, coffee and even real milk in the fridge for us! Clothes washer/dryer was appreciated, as was 2 bathrooms.

Outfitted with modern conveniences that operate at a sophisticated electronic level (i.e. A/C units that sense when people are in the room and where they are within it), guests feel pampered and appreciated. With an Ultra 4K TV, blueray player and a large selection of movies, even the needs of downtime have been addressed. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and every room is well-appointed. The building is quite secure, with electronic door locks from street to apartment corridor, and the elevator was quite welcome. A mini-market is next door, with several restaurants within a few steps from the door. The main entrance to the old city is a block away. This proximity makes it simple to sight-see for a bit, return to the flat for a respite, and go back out. You can see the tops of York Minster from both the kitchen and twin bedroom windows, which is lovely to see at night. The train station is within easy walking distance to the flat and a taxi to/from is quite affordable. David is a kind “innkeeper”, he was at the door waiting for our arrival (which is good, because we decided to walk from the station). He took the time to show us the flat and explain important features. There is a well-crafted binder with just about everything else, from manuals on the equipment to information on the area. Should we ever need a place in York again, this is where we will stay!

This was our second time staying here and we had a wonderful time! The place is perfect for kids and elderly (we had a two year old and a ninety two year old with us!) and is in a great location. We would love to return a third time!

A great central location within five minutes walk of the Minster, and next door to a Sainsburys Local supermarket so very handy for provisions. The owner has equipped and furnished this apartment to a very high standard. The beds and seating are comfortable, the TV and Wi-fi etc are all modern and hi-tech. There is an air conditioning system which is very effective. The booking and handover procedure is very well planned, and easy too, and we had the feeling when we were met by Christine, the housekeeper, that we would be able to contact her with confidence should anything go wrong (but it didn’t). On all counts we recommend this apartment very highly.

A lovely flat in the heart of York. We were there for a wedding and the flat was perfectly located for everything and a stylish space.

A lovely apartment in a safe, secure, convenient location. Across the street from beautiful museum gardens, a couple of blocks to a stairway on the Wall Walk, a short walk to the main part of York, where the Cathedral, restaurants, and shops are. You can get to York Station in about 15 minutes by foot. Sainsbury’s grocery is on the ground floor of the building, and several pubs and coffee shops are steps away. Even though the building is on a heavily travelled street, none of the noise can be heard in the apartment. There are quiet and effective room air conditioning units in the bedrooms and kitchen/dining/living area.

In a great location close to all the major York attractions. Great outlook over beautiful gardens, views to the Minster and a quick stroll to the City Walls, shops and restaurants or about 40 pubs! Thoughtful touches like fluffy towels, bathroom supplies and a library of DVDs, and the apartment and building are really clean and bright.

The flat is in an excellent location within walking distance to all of York’s attractions. It was beautifully clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The flat was quiet and there is a supermarket right downstairs. Netflix was fantastic for the kids. We were welcomed in person which made us feel right at home.

We came from New Zealand to catch up with friends, and this apartment is fabulous in every way.  We would go back in a heart beat!

Clean and well stocked apartment. Centrally located. Good pubs and cafes nearby. Handy Sainsburys downstairs.  The host was very friendly , helpful and informative. He kindly let me check-in early as I had to get an earlier train due to the adverse snowy weather.

This apartment is stylish, clean and most comfortable in a wonderful location. Everywhere is very easy to walk to. There are countless restaurants, coffee shops and pubs just moments away. York is steeped in history with so much to see. Unusually for many cities , it still has a large number of independent shops side by side with the big chain stores. We have just left but already looking forward to our return.

The location is fine, only five minutes to York minster. The apartment is well furnished and large enough. The host is very patient to answer my questions and wait us for a long time to give me the key.

The apartment is fully equip for our need. There is Sainsburys convenient store below the apt. All attractions are around the corner and well within walking distance. The host is a fantastic help and ever helpful. And, he has documented all pertinent information on the City of York available in the apartment. We thank you.

My sisters and I stayed in 4 different lodgings on our trip to the UK, and this was our favorite by far! Everything was just as described and pictured. All the mod cons you could need, comfortable bedding and furniture, great appliances, etc. There were even 2 hair dryers, a flat iron and curling wand. I wish every airbnb was so well equipped! Being right above the Sainsbury’s was super convenient, and the location in general was perfect. Pretty much everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.

This modern, very well fitted and equipped flat is an ideal base in York. It’s well within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions and includes car-parking facilities nearby. Many restaurants and pubs are within a few blocks and the mini-supermarket and ATM on the ground floor are very convenient. We were met by the owner’s agent, who explained all the features of the excellent equipment and services. The owners have taken great care and much effort to provide an amazing selection of videos and reading materials if residents are ever stuck for something to do on a rainy day. Well worth the price and highly recommended.

Spacious, clean, and with lovely views over rooftops towards the Minster. Five minute walk into the centre of York, and so convenient to come back “home” after a full day of exploring. The kitchen was exceptionally equipped, and there was a comprehensive compendium to inform guests about everything they could possibly need to know while staying. Also, beautiful bed linen and bath towels. With a supermarket on ground level, and a car park provided, what more could you want?

We stayed at 7 Aspire with our three children. The location is perfect, the views of the Minster are spectacular and the flat has absolutely everything we needed. The host was incredibly accommodating and very easy to reach. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The apartment was located within a minute walk of the Bootham Gate and 2 minutes to the Minister and had a convenience store close by. Absolutely fantastic location. A comprehensive information booklet was extremely helpful. We had such an enjoyable stay in York and much of this enjoyment came from our stay at the 7 Aspire Apartment. This is a superb apartment and very close to York city centre. It is furnished to highest standard. Two excellent bedrooms and two fantastic bathrooms. Kitchen fully fitted and has everything you need. Air conditioning in all of the rooms and huge TVs in both bedroom with 3D TV in the lounge, together with dozens of DVDs to watch and plenty of games to play. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding is of superb quality. Christine, the Housekeeper, is lovely and met us as promised to give the keys, car park pass and to welcome us to the apartment and show us how everything worked. Communication from the owner was excellent. Very highly recommended and we are looking forward to our next visit to York and to stay in this wonderful apartment.

I stayed with my mother who was visiting and my girlfriend and everything was great. The location is fantastic, easy to walk to from the train station and close to the walls and old town. There are lovely places to eat near by, it’s pretty quiet and there is a supermarket right next door. The flat had a nice finish and everything you could want (kitchen utensils galore and a great DVD collection). The check in was very easy and flexible as well. Overall, a great place to stay, a great service and I’d definitely be happy to stay here again.

Local store is adjacent to the building. The apartment is beautiful, very well equipped and ultra modern with a very scenic view from the windows. All the locations are within walking distance and so is the railway station. Plenty options to eat out right on the street. The apartment is fantastic, everything is very high-end and it is in a fantastic location just outside the city wall.

This is the place where you will want to stay when you visit York. The apartment is perfect for a home from home experience – thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need, modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is ideal with an easy stroll into the centre of the beautiful city of York. The booking, arrival and departure processes were easy, even for an Airbnb novice. The owner was exceptionally quick to respond to any queries and Christine provided a warm welcome on arrival. Highly recommended.

The description and photos are a true reflection of the apartment. Christine was fantastic showing us around the apartment and providing local advice. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment had so many little extra touches which made it feel very premium. Incredibly comfortable and homely with lovely furniture and appliances. Perfect spot – easy access to all city centre locations made more ideal by the parking permit which meant we could drive to and from the apartment freely unlike most overnight stay car parks. Great communication from both the owner and the housekeeper who met us to hand over the keys and parking permit. We regularly visit York and will definitely be returning to this apartment for future stays.
